The Non-Human Institute for Humanity
In a globalized era, outdated models of “humanity” have reached their limits. The Non-Human Institute for Humanity is a post-human institute investigating theories, philosophies, metaphors, and light-years of information, in order to explore new ways of thinking and behaving. The Institute’s mobile capsule lands this year at the Media Art Festival. A space for the inclusion of all “alienated” beings, it offers a new experience of home: a Home 2.0, based on a deconditioned state of belonging. The institute also presents its latest project: a tarot deck based on research into magic, spirituality, and imagination.
The project is presented by Samantha Pellarini, and was developed in collaboration with Zjuul Wiersema. Visually inspired by the technological and digital world, Samantha searches for meaningful solutions in philosophy, spirituality and imagination. She graduated from the Minerva Art Academy in 2020.
