Take a walk through the woods with virtual images from the past and the present.
Artists Gejan Stol, Raymond van Es and Sina Barkmann portray their perspective on the cultural history of the Dutch-German border region. The interactive installation consists of 12 sculptures surrounding the themes Space, Language, Craft and Celebration. The AR works can be viewed with an app.
Bilderwald is the traveling closing act of Grenzkultur, a cross-border project surrounding the intangible heritage in the regions Emsland, Grafschaft Bentheim and the province of Drenthe. The project was organized by Emsländische Landschaft, Stichting Kunst & Cultuur, the province of Drenthe and Emslandmuseum Lingen.
Bilderwaldcould be realized thanks to the ICO Centre for the Arts and the Digital Art Factory in Assen.
